Goodbye my prince

I stared at him, intently. He looked all ready to return to America, though all he had was just a small luggage bag. All he needed. We stared at each other for what seemed like an eternity. My whole body felt numb and I felt that I couldn't do anything at all except stare at him, torn, accusing, and most of all pleading.  

However, time couldn't stop forever and he slowly turned away. I wanted to yell at him, run up to him, stop him, but I couldn't. The only movement I could make was to slowly raise up my hand in a pitiful attempt to try to stop him. However, I couldn't even move my legs forward to try to grab him.  My eyes started watering but I made no attempt to wipe my tears. Don't go. I wanted to tell him that so bad. I opened my mouth but no sound came out and yet I still continued to whisper out his name. However, he continued to walk away, away from my life, without stopping or turning back.
